Clocks
Made Me

Paintings & drawings by Clock, age 5, on a very serious mission

As a newborn, there was only one thing in the world that could calm him down: clocks. Not toys. Not songs. Clocks.

He has spent his whole life watching them tick, listening to them chime, and — more recently — taking them apart to see what is inside. He now owns over 20 clocks. Most of them are broken. He did that.

He wants to be a clockmaker when he grows up. To get there, he needs a professional to teach him to fix his clocks. But first, he needs money. So he picked up a paintbrush.

Every piece is $6 to cover his materials — but if you want to give more, Gumroad lets you pay whatever you like. He will know. He will appreciate it.

Not sure which one to pick?
Clock suggests buying the one that speaks to you.
He said that himself. Word for word. We were also surprised.

Why Clocks?
Nobody knows.

From the very first days of his life — before he could speak, walk, or have opinions about anything — he had opinions about clocks. The sound. The movement. The mechanism.

He has spent years studying their faces, their hands, their insides. He has also spent years breaking them — not out of carelessness, but out of the sincere need to understand what is in there.

He wants a clockmaker to teach him to put them back together. He has a plan. The plan involves selling art. You can be part of the plan.

Good Questions

What happens to the money?
It goes toward clock repairs and more clocks from Goodwill. He knows this. He approved this plan. He is very focused.
Why $6 — can I pay more?
$6 covers his materials. Gumroad lets you pay whatever you want above that. If you love a piece, pay what feels right. He will not negotiate down.
How does buying work?
Each piece links to Gumroad for safe payment. The original physical piece gets mailed to you — with care, and probably a little extra pride.
Are these really originals?
Yes. One of a kind. Once it's gone, it's gone. No prints, no copies. Just one genuine piece of 5-year-old artistry heading to your home.
Why is he so into clocks?
Honestly? We don't fully know. He came out of the womb this way. As a newborn, only clocks calmed him down. We've accepted it. We think it's wonderful.
Can I commission a piece?
You can ask. He may say yes. He may explain at length why his current ideas are better. Either way, the conversation will be worth it.
